Her Faith In Action: Helping Christian Women Take Action Towards Purpose
God has planted a big dream in your heart—a vision, a seed, a mission to make an impact in His Kingdom. You pray about it, talk about it, but taking real steps toward it? That’s where things get tough. Maybe fear has you frozen, or the overwhelm of not knowing how to execute is holding you back. You’re not alone. I’ve been there, stuck in a place where I knew God was calling me to more, but I was paralyzed by indecision and doubt. Until God led me to James 2:14-26: "Faith without works is dead." It was in that moment I realized my faith wasn’t enough if it didn’t come with bold, obedient action.
Welcome to the Her Faith In Action podcast, where we help Christian women move from fear to faith-filled action in their businesses and lives. I’m your host, Maleah J Hill, and each week, alongside incredible Christian women, we’ll provide you with the tools, resources, and confidence to step boldly into the purpose God has called you to. Whether you're dreaming of starting a business, stepping into leadership, writing that book, or showing up boldly online, this podcast is here to inspire you and equip you with the strategies you need to finally take action.
It’s time to stop sitting on your dream and start walking in faith. Grab a seat, get comfortable, and let’s dive into conversations that will empower you to turn your God-given vision into reality. Welcome to the Her Faith In Action Podcast.

Finding Your Identity in Christ After Spiritual Abuse and Trauma
How do we begin to find our identity in Christ after dealing with abuse, trauma, and shame?
Join us as Kanisha Nashay Parker shares her journey of healing and rediscovering her identity in Christ after enduring years of spiritual abuse, religious trauma, and a cult-like church environment.
In this heartfelt conversation, Kanisha discusses some of the most traumatic events in her life such as — being part of a toxic and controlling church culture, the manipulation and grooming she experienced, and the sexual abuse she endured. She shares her journey of healing, therapy, and family support that eventually empowered her to speak out and break her silence.
Kanisha’s healing eventually led her to write her new book “I'm God's Daughter: 60 Days of Discovering Who God Says You Are and Who He Wants You to Be.” A book for women that focuses on discovering one's identity in Christ and living a full life in Christ despite what we've been through. This episode is a powerful reminder that not only can God heal even the deepest wounds, but He can use our stories for His glory and to propel us into purpose.
